Bridget Ferris and Eyob Tewelde Join the Wexler Group

Bridget Ferris and Eyob Tewelde joined the Wexler Group as graduate students.

Bridget Ferris completed her undergraduate studies in chemistry and mathematics at Austin College. She will develop and apply computational methods for modeling point defects in materials and studying chemical reactions at surfaces.

Eyob Tewelde earned his undergraduate degree in chemistry from the University of Chicago. His research will center on simulating and designing off-stoichiometric, redox-active metal oxide perovskites for thermochemical water and carbon dioxide splitting.
